Advance Christmas Parade at 10 am
Grab a cup of hot chocolate and a chair and head to the Advance Christmas parade. Parade participants meet by 9 am in the parking lot of Shady Grove Elementary School on Cornatzer Road. The parade begins at 10 am starting at the school, and follows Cornatzer Road, turning right onto Highway 801 and left on Peeples Creek Road.
Winterfest is FREE! —Huge inflatable slide, maze, bounce house, hay rides, and balloon crafts!
The thrills are just beginning! There will be fun for the whole family at Winterfest from noon to 6 pm at Junker’s Mill Outdoor Stage at 107 South Salisbury Street, Mocksville. You will “frolic and play the eskimo way” as you fly down SnowZilla, the inflatable tubing slide.
At 31’ Tall and 90’ Long, and with two sliding lanes, it’s a WOW ride for kids and adults of all ages! The perfect simulation of a slide down a snow covered hill!
Your family with have a snowmazing time in the 40’x50’ inflatable snow maze featuring vibrant colored snowmen, twists, turns and roadblocks that will have you smiling and laughing as you try to find your way out!
You won’t want to miss the bounce house, hay rides, and balloon art and stories by Michael Decker!
A few vendors/crafters will be selling inexpensive items to help children and adults with their holiday gift lists. Part of the proceeds will benefit senior assisted living facilities.
Food and drinks will be available for purchase, or enjoy one of Mocksville’s delicious downtown restaurants.
Bring Non-Perishable Food Items for A Storehouse for Jesus
This is the season for giving, so please bring non-perishable food items for A Storehouse for Jesus. Collection boxes will be available around Junker’s Mill.
This wonderful family event is presented by the Mocksville Tourism Development Authority. And best of all, it’s free!
