Bring the kids to the Evening Farmers Market Thursday, May 5, 2016 beginning at 3:45 p.m. for a special night. Broad Street UMC Preschool and the market will help children pot plants to gift to mother on her day, Mother’s Day, May 8, 2016.  Thanks to Piedmont Plants one of our vendors who will donate the plants for this special occasion.

 

Make Mother’s Day shopping special this year with gifts for Mom from the market. You will also find hand made gifts for her including AC Bee’s lip balm and creams; handmade soaps, baked goods and more at the market now in the beautiful setting of Pecan Park in historic downtown Statesville. Also sign up for a chance to win a Basket of Goodies of donations from the market vendors. Drawing will be at 5:00 p.m.

 

Local foods now available at the market include early season veggies such as greens & onions, meat, eggs, herbs, baked goods, jams, jellies, flower bouquets, plants, homemade body care products and more. Bring family, a friend to enjoy this weekly community, outdoor shopping experience April through October.

The Evening Farmers Market is a non-profit group of area farmers, bakers, and crafters who present their products for sale are for the convenience of early evening shopping at Pecan Park in historic downtown Statesville.  Stop after work and enjoy a casual social setting, meet the vendors who are concerned with preserving farm family values.
