Help build a Back pack for Davie Students

Several partners have committed to collecting school supplies as part of their partnership agreement and some others may just want to join in the fun! The Build A Backpack group has found that it works well to have groups make a concentrated effort in collecting specific supplies. We already have several different groups collecting assigned supplies, but we are still in need of 200 scissors and 1500 glue sticks (500 pks of three would be great, but we'll take whatever we can get). We are anticipating packing out 450 backpacks this year for students in need and this would help complete those with the inventory on hand.

If you are willing to take on a portion of either of these items or would like to make a monetary donation (payable to United Way of Davie County) to purchase supplies, please let me know as soon as possible. It would be great to have them delivered to our office located at 220 Cherry Street in Mocksville by August 8. We greatly appreciate your consideration and support.
