Passenger trains, operated by Amtrak in partnership with , NCDOT’s Rail Division, stop at The Depot in downtown Greensboro, N.C.—right in the heart of the Folk Festival!

Amtrak and NC by Train are providing a 20% discount to all passengers traveling to and from Greensboro from September 9 -11, 2016, for the National Folk Festival. To receive this discount, passengers must book their trips online at Amtrak.com/Save20.

Enter the Ride NC by Train Sweepstakes and travel to the Festival for free!

The Festival’s Official Transportation Sponsor, NC by Train, in partnership with Amtrak, is providing four pairs of round-trip tickets from any NC by Train location as prizes in the “Ride NC by Train to the National Folk Festival” Sweepstakes. Entries will be accepted through August 24.

The four winners and their guests will use the tickets to travel to Greensboro for the 2016 Festival. One of these winners will also receive a one-night stay during the Festival at Greensboro’s luxurious Proximity Hotel, the Festival’s Official Hospitality Partner.

You may enter the Sweepstakes in two ways:

• Online: Fill out a Sweepstakes Entry Form by August 24, 2016
• By mail: Print name, address, home telephone number, and age on a 3″ x 5″ card and mall to: “Ride NC by Train to the National Folk Festival,” P.O. Box 877, Greensboro, NC 27402. Entries must be postmarked by August 24, 2016, and received no later than August 29, 2016.
